#11 Gideon

Gideon is a 2020 addition, because in 2020, we had opportunity to do every single day.  There were no school program or church program or Christmas Party conflicts.

Food Suggestions:πŸŽπŸ”πŸ—πŸ°πŸ΄

Garlic Steak Bites, using a blunted skewer to stab a piece of meat, which could look like a torch. (we are not going to do a huge amount of meat, because even sirloin steak is expensive.  Probably going heavier on the starches and just some meat.)

(Note to self...this was a solid OK. Next year I think maybe A1 Sauce or another steak type sauce)

Garlic Butter-we are going to put the melted butter separately in a little "jar" (we are using food prep bowls --set of 6 ---from the Walmart app, but anything that could look like a jar for your family).

Pillsbury Crescent Rolls for the horns

Yellow Rice (packaged from Walmart...this is new for us) because Gideon was afraid. Or thin noodles because the story opens with Gideon threshing wheat on the winepress floor.

Not sure about the vegetable yet.  Maybe salad...for the wool being wet and the ground dry.

Slurpey Grape Milkshake- (purple cow)

I think we will make some kind of trumpet/jar/torch...
